Lead new research projects, liaise with contractors to develop SPAD LiDAR signal simulations for deep oceanic water, member of leadership team for a 10-day boat trial proposal on a research vessel, collaboration with international organisations, domestic industry, and academic partners, and coordination of lab tours for visitors to showcase my research team's work.

Inaugural DSTG program offering industry and academia collaboration through two rotations:

Rotation One: Ravensnest in SpaceLab, Lot 14

Assisted in planning and executing the physical layout.

Rotation Two: Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, UK

Participated in a multinational trial, assisted in trial preparation, organised data from various sensors and photos, and created a comprehensive spreadsheet of experimental data filenames.

Lead multi-disciplinary teams for boat trials, liaise and negotiate contracts with industry, and develop novel experimental setups and methods for testing scientific hypotheses.

Assisted in designing imaging trials, developed algorithms and proof-of-concept demonstrators for the ADF, collaborated with contractors and students, liaised with industry and academic partners, and presented at international conferences.

DSTG program in sponsoring undergraduate students’ university fees and provided internships, conducted a summer project building a communication interface between SPAD Array Microchip and Nvidia Jetson TK1 using an Altera FPGA programmed with Verilog and C++, and utilised Front Panel SDK by Opal Kelly for data transfer via USB 3.0.

Science communication engagement with visitors on scientific principles, demonstrations to small crowds, general assistance

Completed power calculations and site audit reports, prepared DC power line diagrams, obtained contractor quotes, and collated data from various databases.
